I've worked in UK schools for many years, and more recently been a lead advisor to major UK and EU aid projects in Africa. Co-authored widely used science textbooks, published by John Murray/Hodder Education, in my youth. My non-fiction book on Scottish paintings of the sea, Infused with Place, was published by Ethics International Press in November 2025. Have just completed a debut novel (if we discount the one I wrote at break times in primary school!).
