All Shadowmancers are evil, right? Well, not exactly. Rulmar, despite being a dark lord who holds an iron fist over the territory he controls, is actually quite the nice guy, refusing to keep slaves, actively funding educations and giving a chance of employment to anyone who asks, and helping solve the problems of anyone he happens to come across.

Likewise, his adopted daughter is an extremely bubbly, if confusing, girl who just wants to have fun and go adventuring. The fact that she can summon a horse made from the shadows of the underworld is a bonus!

So join them and a few other important characters, as they live their lives, each the protagonist of their own stories.
