When compassionate Lya aids a wounded vampyr named Rhael, an unbreakable magical oath binds them until the next full moon.

Unfortunately, before she can deal with this, assassins attack her roommates in a failed attempt to get to Rhael. To bring the assailants to justice, Lya and Rhael must embark on a perilous interdimensional journey.

Joining them are two secretive werewolves and a fierce canine Hunter. To achieve their goal, they’ll have to navigate shifting allegiances, Lya's complex and developing powers, and the Living Blood that asks more from Lya than she is willing to give.
